For most of my career I was a materials scientist/engineer. During a visit to the National Aquarium in Baltimore my son and I discovered the aquarium setting on our cameras. That and an introductory photography class with Craig Norton started me on this journey. My primary interests are landscape, nature and sports/action photography, I document both the built and natural world. Recently I have begun to explore more abstract expression. My photographs have been exhibited across the country from West Hartford, Mystic and Middletown, CT to the Linden Gallery in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. My photograph, Jin Mao Tower, won first place in the New England Camera Club Council black and white print competition.

July 16,2024 Due to a maintenance issue at the center I had to remove many of my photos early. All 8 in the longer hallway, to the left of the reception desk as you enter, have been removed. There are still 3 in the hallway to the right of the reception desk as you enter. There are also several in the display case as you enter. I expect these will remain until about August 16th unless there are other problems at the center.
May 30, 2024 Many of my photographs will be on display at the Mansfield Community Center from June 4, 2024 to mid-August 2024.
